Is the knob of the Volkswagen Golf 4 damaged? Let's see how the central tunnel changes from above. We detach the frame of the leather cap with a lever. We remove the metal clamp that holds the knob. We take the knob in our hands and rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod. To carry out the assembly, take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel together with the leather cap, tighten the same in the rod with the metal clamp. We lower the cap and tighten it in the central tunnel with the plastic clips of the frame.
