How to Change the Air Control Bulbs on a VW Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK III, Polo III, Polo 3, MK 3, 6N - Years 1994-2003

Let’s replace the damaged bulbs in the knobs on a Volkswagen Polo. Remove the ventilation knobs using your hands or pliers. Disconnect the air conditioning control frames with a screwdriver (levering them off) if you need to remove the other bulbs. Pull the bulbs out from the instrument panel (as shown in the video). Be careful not to break the plastic tabs on the knobs. After removing the central knob from the panel, replace the bulb and refit it. Remove the other air control knobs using the same procedure. Test the operation of the new bulbs.
