Replace ECU on Golf 6

Is the ECU installed on your Volkswagen Golf 6 damaged? Here’s how to change it. Remove the plastic cover under the front windscreen using a lever, and unscrew the securing screws with a screwdriver. Remove the cover plastic with a screwdriver, then unscrew the securing screws. Extract the damaged ECU. Insert a new ECU into the designated space (screw in the securing screws). Cover it with the cover and tighten the screws. Check the correct installation of the previously removed parts. Connect the electrical connectors. Start the vehicle and test its operation.
