Fitting an Additional Chip Tuning Control Unit

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Before proceeding, obtain the control unit kit for the vehicle in question. Remove the engine cover to access the installed control unit. Disconnect the original connector of the original control unit using a tool. Connect one end of the Y-cable, included in the kit, to the control unit and the other end to the connector just disconnected. After connecting the new additional control unit to the third connector of the kit wiring, position the new control unit in a suitable location, away from intense heat sources, and secure it with plastic ties.
