Removing Rear Headlamp on VW Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Remove the rear headlamp from a VW Polo to change the damaged bulbs. Open the boot lid, then remove the side covering cloth from the boot. Unscrew the plastic securing screw of the rear headlamp, disconnect the power connectors attached to the headlamp, and pull it away from its housing. Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same voltage). Refit the headlamp with the securing screw, close the inspection hatch with the covering cloth. Test the operation of the new bulbs using the control knob (located above the dashboard).
