Replacing Wing Mirror on VW Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

Replace the external wing mirror on a VW Touran; here’s how. Use a lever to remove the plastic part of the internal cover of the mirror (there are plastic clips) and unscrew the securing bolts with a socket wrench. Once the securing bolts are removed, take out the mirror with the electric adjustment cables from the car door (disconnect the electrical connectors). Fit the new mirror with the bolts and adjustment cables. Refit the plastic cover onto the inner panel of the door. Adjust the mirror using the electric buttons.
