Remove the Centre Glove Compartment on a Golf 5

Removing the centre glove compartment on this car is not complex; by following these simple steps, you can do it without issues. First, remove the leather cover from the gear lever on the dashboard to access the two screws directly beneath it. Now lift the front trim and disconnect the cables, then remove it. This will give you access to the four side screws inside the compartment and the two outer screws under the plastic cover. Once these are removed, you can take off the two plastic pieces secured with pressure clips around the perimeter. Repeat this for the subsequent side panels and finally for the entire centre tunnel.
