Remove the door panel of a Golf 5 to perform maintenance inside or to replace it. Here’s how to disassemble it. Remove the internal handle cover. Unscrew the fixing screws located inside the handle (after removing the switch panel), and unscrew the screws around the door panel. Detach the panel clips. Finally, pull the panel off with your hands and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Replace or refit the same door panel.

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
