In this video, see how to remove the cabin heating radiator from a Volkswagen Golf 5 and a Volkswagen Passat B6. Start by removing the lower plastic part of the centre console on the driver's side by removing the screw: now unscrew the screws from the plastic panel above the pedals and detach it. This will allow you to remove the cover that conceals the radiator.

Unscrew the metal bracket screw that holds the radiator in place, and you can finally extract it from the compartment, taking care of any fluid it may contain.
