Replacing the oil and filter on your Golf GT TDI can be a process that does not necessarily require the help of your mechanic. Take the car for a ride to check that the engine turns correctly, then park the car and wait for the oil to settle; check and memorize the oil level; now remove the engine cover. Place a few rags around the filter compartment. Insert the extraction tube into the dipstick tube and push it towards the bottom of the pan. Start extracting the oil. Remove the filter cap using a ratchet wrench with a special pocket. Remove the old filter. Meanwhile, continue pumping the oil to be extracted and when you are finished use the extractor to remove the oil from the filter compartment. Now take a new filter and, after positioning it correctly, insert it into its housing. Remove the old rubber seal from the filter cap and replace it with the new one (supplied with the new filter). Also replace the small O-ring located on the end of the cap. Be careful to grease the new seals with a little oil. Insert the cap, screw it by hand and fasten it well with the appropriate key. Now reposition the dipstick and remove the rags. Pour in the new oil (about 4.5 liters). Close the cap. You just have to check the operation by turning the engine a little and check that the warning light on the on-board computer is no longer there. Check the dipstick again after which you can reposition the engine cover. Remember to properly dispose of the old oil.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308

If we need to change the time on this car we can follow the instructions given in this video tutorial and read the instructions below. First of all, access the driver's seat and turn on the ignition.
