Restoring Satin Finish on Steering Wheel Spokes

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008

If there are streaks (generally caused by sweat acidity) or scratches from rings or bracelets on the aluminium spokes of the steering wheel, you can remedy this by applying a satin aluminium effect adhesive film that adheres perfectly to the spoke, restoring its aesthetics. The strips should be shaped appropriately following the curvature of the spoke from the steering wheel side. Apply soapy water to the spoke before applying the adhesive to allow for adjustment and proper positioning. Once aligned, ensure it adheres correctly using a small brush, avoiding the formation of air bubbles.
