Replacing the Lock on a Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

Is the lock on your Volkswagen Touran broken? Here’s how to remove the door panel and the lock. Open the door, remove the window switch panel located in the handle (disconnect the power connector). Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws in the handle, then remove it from the trim near the lever (remove the fastening screws). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the securing clips. Remove the cover panel to access the functioning lock. Remove the damaged lock (unscrew the screws and disconnect the electrical connectors).
