Removing the Starter Motor of a Volkswagen Passat

In this tutorial video, you will learn how to remove the starter motor from a Volkswagen Passat B6. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the two battery terminals; then remove the air filter box by disconnecting it from the intake hose and also remove the battery support by unscrewing all necessary screws. At this point, you can see the starter motor: unscrew the supporting bolts and remove the starter motor from the engine bay. Now fit the new part and reassemble all missing components.
