- Years 1997-2003 Obtain replacement bearings. Raise the car, secure it and remove the wheel. Remove the metal protection that protects the sealing bolt placed on the hub which will in turn be unscrewed. In case of difficulty, use a deoxidizer spray. Remove the entire brake assembly. With an extractor remove the drum to access the bearing. Free the bearing by removing it. Thoroughly clean from old grease. Then place the new bearing inside after having greased it well. Interposing a piece of wood, beat with a hammer to make the bearing fit perfectly into its seat. Reassemble all the previously disassembled dividers.
