Front Headlight Disassembly and Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Headlight

Open the front bonnet and unscrew the two screws located at the top of the headlight trim; then unscrew the other two screws located at the top of the lower grille, just below the bumper lip: at this point, the front grille can be removed. Proceed with unscrewing the screws and fasteners of the front bumper near the side of the headlight to be removed: it is not necessary to completely remove the bumper, but it is sufficient to move it away enough to unscrew the headlight mounting pins and extract it from its housing. Reverse the process to install the new headlight.
