Wishbone Replacement on Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Loosen the 17 mm bolts on the affected wheel, lift the car with a jack (if you do not have a ramp), and remove the wheel. Use a wire brush and WD40 to clean the joints of the wishbone. Unscrew the front fastening element of the wishbone, and then those that secure the suspension arm to the subframe, using an 18 mm spanner. Now unscrew the bolts (also 18 mm) that connect the ball joint to the arm. Finally, you can remove the wishbone using a pry bar, as shown in the video. For reassembly, proceed in reverse order, but only after cleaning the joint areas with WD40 and a wire brush.
