Replacing Pedal Covers with New Design

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 6, A6 - Years 2010-2018

After obtaining the necessary kit for the operation, begin by removing the plastic cover located under the steering column by unscrewing the two screws. You can now access the screws that secure the accelerator pedal. Remove the two securing screws at the base of the pedal to position it appropriately for disconnecting the connector. For this delicate operation, use a flat-blade screwdriver to pry it open at the designated slot. Install the new pedal by reversing the process. Next, remove the old pedal covers and replace them with the new ones. Finally, remove the side covers to access the securing screw of the footrest block, which should be replaced with the new one. Refit all the disassembled parts.
