Removing the Front Seat on Golf 5

Want to remove the front seat from the Volkswagen Golf 5? Here’s how to take apart all the pieces to remove the seat. Disconnect the power connectors from under the seat, slide the seat back (using the release lever) and lift the seat base up. Then, use a socket to remove the securing screws on the front rail. Move the seat forward using the adjustment buttons and remove the securing bolts from the rear of the rail. Once the front seat is removed, simply install a similar type and rail for securing.
