Remove the radio from the Passat

Do you want to remove the radio from the Passat and replace it with a newer model? Let's look at how to take out all the parts to replace the radio. Enter the vehicle and locate the plastic cover that you will remove. Pry off the plastic frame above the centre console: detach it from the dashboard, then unscrew the securing screws around the perimeter of the radio with a screwdriver. Extract the radio from the housing, being careful not to damage the wiring. Install the new radio following the disassembly steps. Test the operation after completing the installation.
