V-Belt Replacement on Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf III, MK 3, Golf 3 - Years 1991-1997

Loosen the bolts on the front right wheel, lift the car with a jack (if you do not have a ramp) and remove them completely. Remove the wheel and unscrew the screws that secure the wheel arch liner. Voila! Here is the poly-v drive belt. Using a 13mm socket, unscrew the bolt located under the right toothed wheel and the one behind it. Use a 16mm socket above it, and finally, you can move the wheel to loosen the belt and remove it. Similarly, fit the new belt and tighten the three previous bolts. Refit the wheel arch liner and the wheel.
