Replacing Rear Bulbs on a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Open the boot lid and notice the side covers located near the rear lights, which are fitted into the boot lining. Remove the cover for the affected lamp simply by pulling it off by hand. Unscrew the plastic fixing screw and disconnect the connector from the lamp. Move to the outer area and extract the lamp by pulling firmly and shaking it slightly. Once removed, pry (with a flat screwdriver) on the rear clips that hold the white housing, where the bulbs are inserted. Replace any affected bulb and proceed in reverse for reassembly.
