Before we can start, we will have to go and open the front hood of our Volkswagen Up. Let's start by pulling out the oil check rod. After that, we will have to lift the front of the car. By doing so, we will have reached the lower oil sump drain nut, which we will have to unscrew and remove. Once we have removed the drain nut, we will have to wait for all the oil to come out, and then screw the nut again. At this point, we will be able to lower the machine, to then insert the new oil from the filler hole, and we will have successfully completed the engine oil change.
