In this video tutorial, you will see how to remove the front wiper motor on a Volkswagen Passat B5. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the cap from the wiper arm by unscrewing the bolt found underneath, then remove the arm along with the wiper; next, remove the plastic cover and unscrew the fastening bolts of the window mechanism, as illustrated in the video. At this point, you can remove the entire mechanism and consequently the wiper motor; simply remove it and replace it with the new one!

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
