Let's see today the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI. First we open the engine hood and start removing the engine protection; then remove the pipes located on the left side, unscrewing the diesel filter screws to remove it, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the screws of the motor support; we raise the car to remove the wheel and disconnect the service belt, removing the crankshaft pulley. Once the distribution cover has been removed, let's proceed with taking the references for the timing!
