Replacement of the fuel filter of the Volkswagen Passat B6

To replace the fuel filter of the Volkswagen Passat, we open the front hood, find the filter body on the passenger side near the windshield washer reservoir. Using a T20 torx key, we unscrew the five screws of the cover, lift it up releasing the connected pipes and remove the old filtering element putting a cloth on the body to avoid dirt from entering. We remove the old gasket from the cover and replace it with a new one, insert the new filter into the cover and slowly insert it into the body to avoid fuel leaks. We tighten the screws and finish the operation with a torque wrench set at 9 Nm.
