Before we can start, we will have to go and lift the front of our Volkswagen Golf. So let's start by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the wheel to the hub, and then removing the wheel itself. After that, we will have to unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the brake caliper, and then disengage and remove the caliper itself. At this point, we will have to unscrew and remove the screws that secure the brake disc to the hub. When we have completed this last step, we will be able to remove the brake disc, and we will have finished the disassembly. To mount the new brake disc and reassemble the rest, we will only have to repeat these instructions in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
