How to Replace the Front Brake Disc on a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Before you can begin, lift the front end of your Volkswagen Golf. Start by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the wheel to the hub, then remove the wheel itself. Next, unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the brake caliper, then detach and move the caliper away. At this point, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the brake disc to the hub. Once you have completed this step, you can remove the brake disc, and the disassembly will be finished. To install the new brake disc and reassemble everything, simply repeat these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
