How to Replace the Rear Light Bulb on a Volkswagen Polo

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Before starting, open the rear hatch of your Volkswagen Polo. Begin by moving the carpet flap located on the inner side of the boot. Next, unscrew and remove the inner screw that secures the rear light to the car. This will free the rear light. Proceed to extract the light from its housing, then disconnect the corresponding electrical connector. At this point, unclip the bulb holder from the rear light by simply releasing the securing clips, and you will reach the blown bulb. Once this step is complete, you can unclip and remove the blown bulb from its holder, successfully finishing the disassembly. To fit the new bulb and reassemble everything, just repeat this procedure in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
