To replace the rear light bulb on a Volkswagen Polo, open the boot and lift the side carpet in line with the light. Underneath, you will find a pin that must be completely removed to extract the light from its housing. After removing the light, pull out the bulb, disconnect it from the connector, and connect the new bulb. Once the bulb has been replaced, insert it back into the light unit and secure it in its place.
