Before you can begin, open the front passenger door of your Volkswagen Polo. Start by unfastening the clips that secure the cabin heater filter cover, then remove the cover itself. This will give you access to the filter in question.

Proceed to extract the cabin heater filter from its housing. Once you have completed this step, you will have finished the disassembly.

To install the new filter, simply follow this procedure in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
