Removing the Manufacturer's Badge

Model: Volkswagen Scirocco MK 3 - Years 2008-2017

To easily remove the badge (which is glued with double-sided tape), it is recommended to heat it with a hairdryer to loosen the adhesive grip; once heated, lever it off with a thin plastic stick (a used credit card or phone card can also be used) and peel off the badge. Then, remove any adhesive residue by rubbing with your fingertips and finally clean with anti-silicone or regular solvent (be careful not to discolour the paint). The new badge (or the same one repainted) can be fixed again with double-sided tape.
