Replacing the MAP Sensor on a Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015
Part: Crankshaft position sensor

Learn how to replace the RPM sensor on a Volkswagen Touran. First, lift the front bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the crankshaft RPM sensor, and using a socket spanner, undo the securing bolts (if present next to the valve). Disconnect the component from the engine housing. Compare the worn part with the new one, fit the new part using the respective securing bolts, and reconnect the crankshaft RPM sensor. Start the vehicle and perform a functionality test. Use a suitable mini PC for the reset.
