How to Open the Key Fob on a 2013 Tiguan

Let’s see how to open the Volkswagen Tiguan key fob and remove the battery inside. Take your remote and press the release button of the metal key. Once the metal key pops out, use a screwdriver to pry between the plastics of the cover (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover separates from the rest of the key, then extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver. Insert a new battery into the remote key, then close with the cover.
