Replacing the Brake Pads

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Loosen the wheel bolts before lifting the vehicle and then raise it with a jack, applying car stands to complete the removal of the wheel. Remove the protective caps from the caliper fixing bolts and loosen them. Use a screwdriver to pry between the pads to separate them and facilitate the removal of the caliper. Then remove the caliper and extract the old pads, fully retract the caliper piston and insert the new pads, connecting the wear sensor plug, and tightening the caliper fixing bolts. Take care during the initial braking.
