How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Volkswagen Golf Plus

This guide shows how to remove the steering wheel from a Volkswagen Golf Plus. The operation is very simple and does not require special tools. First, loosen the two bolts located at the back of the steering wheel. At this point, you can unscrew the airbag lock by simply pulling the piece. To disconnect the power and control cable of the airbag, gently pull the connector. Using a 24 mm spanner, unscrew the steering column anchoring bolt; taking care with the connectors behind the steering wheel, you can remove the piece. The operation is now complete.
