Replacing the Speakers

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Speaker

Start by removing the handle cover, then unscrew the screw located on the edge of the door at the height of the air vent. Using a plastic spatula, gently remove the panel along the edges, which should be carefully pulled upwards. Disconnect the electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, taking care not to tear them. Remove the speaker bracket and take it out. Remove the speaker from the bracket by unscrewing the four screws and install the new one, also replacing the foam gasket with a new one. Reassemble the new panel, starting with the connection of the electrical cables. Position the panel upwards and then push it down until it clicks into place. Replace the screws.
