How to Remove the Dashboard of the Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

To remove the dashboard of the Volkswagen Passat, enter the cabin and lower the steering column by pulling it down. This will make it easier to access the instrument cluster: use a lever to lift the plastic surrounding the speedometer and detach it. Now repeat the operation with the plastic surrounding the touch screen, then remove all exposed fixing screws. Next, remove two screws located under the cover of the fuse box, which is situated between the dashboard and the left door. By removing these, you will be able to detach the light switch and the screws located within its housing. Now you can remove the screws under the speedometer, disconnect the connector, and take it out of its seat. You can now install the new replacement parts by reversing the operations.
