Before starting, we will have to open the tailgate of our Volkswagen Polo, and then take the spare wheel and the jack provided in the basic kit. So let's start by lifting the front of the car, using the jack. After that, we will have to go and disengage and remove the wheel hub cap. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew and remove the bolts that secure the wheel to the front hub. By doing so, we will have freed the front wheel itself. At this point we will have to disengage and remove the front wheel, and we will have completed the disassembly. To mount the new front wheel, we will have to repeat this procedure in reverse, and we will have finished the replacement.
