How to Replace the Oil Pump on the Volkswagen New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

To replace the oil pump on the Volkswagen New Beetle, remove all the bolts securing the oil sump, as shown in the video. To remove the oil sump, use a tool to pry it off and let all the used oil drain from the drain plug. At this point, you can loosen the bolts securing the oil pump and slide it out of its housing. Once the old oil pump has been removed, replace it with the new spare part. When this has been installed, you can reattach all the parts removed earlier.
