Removing the Lock on Volkswagen Golf 5

Start by removing the side plastic cover, then detach the now exposed clips using a plastic lever. After removing the adhesive, unscrew the t20 bolt that holds the lock, keeping the handle pulled with the other hand. At this point, you can extract the cylinder and then detach the handle, removing the small clip with a small flat screwdriver as shown in the video. Now unscrew the t20 next to the handle (which has already been removed) and remove the door panel (we have many tutorials dedicated to this task). At this point, you will finally have access to the lock, which you can remove as shown in the video.
