In today's tutorial, you will see the main steps to remove and replace the speedometer cable on the first series Volkswagen Beetle (Bug) from 1970. First, open the front bonnet of your car and locate the old speedometer cable, which runs through the holes to the front wheel. Once disconnected, insert and route the new speedometer cable to the right front wheel; then check the operation of the mechanical speedometer by turning the drum.
