Removing the Steering Wheel on a Volkswagen Beetle

Today, you will briefly learn how to remove a steering wheel from a vehicle, in this case, a 2001 Beetle. First, remove the steering wheel airbag: to do this, insert a screwdriver into the side holes located behind it (rotate it 90 degrees for better access) to push the clips that secure the airbag, then disconnect the connector during extraction. Once removed, you can access the central bolt of the steering wheel, which secures it to the steering column. If any internal parts of the steering wheel obstruct removal, unscrew them. Good luck!
