In this brief and simple guide, discover how to remove and replace the steering wheel on the Volkswagen New Beetle. First, get into the vehicle and slightly lower the steering wheel; then use a sharp object to press the rear holes, releasing the airbag tabs, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector to remove the airbag; then unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel to remove it. Finally, position the new steering wheel straight and reassemble everything!
