This short video tutorial will explain how to disassemble and replace the cover (or shell) of the key in a Volkswagen Golf 6. First, you need to disassemble the old key of your car: remove the battery cover and take it out; then, using a thin flat object (like a screwdriver), open the key shell into two parts, being careful not to damage the plastic. At this point, you can fit your old key onto your new pin. Finally, reassemble everything and you're done!
