If the key of your Volkswagen Golf Mk5 has suddenly stopped working and you want to try replacing the battery inside, simply follow the instructions below. The entire operation takes just a few minutes to complete. First, press the metal button located at the top of the cover to release the emergency key. Next, using a flat screwdriver (or a similar object), remove the top part of the cover. At this point, open the key and proceed to replace the battery (CR2032).
