How to Service the Methane Cylinders on the Volkswagen Touran

Model: Volkswagen Touran MK 1, 1T - Years 2003-2015

In this video, shown for illustrative purposes only, you will see the procedure adopted for servicing and replacing the methane cylinders on the Volkswagen Touran (also valid for other models in the Volkswagen group); this operation must be carried out exclusively in authorised workshops (as replacing the cylinders involves working with very high and therefore dangerous pressures). First, the cylinders are removed by disconnecting the methane pipes from the cylinder and the safety valve; a pressure test is then performed to indicate their integrity (if defects are found, they are replaced).
