How to reset the window regulators of a Golf VI

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012
Part: Warning light – error code

If the window regulator motor has been replaced, or if you have disconnected the battery or the battery has gone flat, there may be issues with the automatic operation. To reset it, insert the key to turn on the ignition; press and hold the window down button until the window is fully lowered, then continue to hold the button for 3 seconds. Now perform the reverse operation by raising the window and keeping the button pressed for 3 seconds after it is fully raised. At this point, the reset will be complete and the automatic mode will be functioning again.
