How to Replace the Rear Bulb of a Volkswagen Golf 6

This guide shows how to replace the rear brake bulb of the car. First, go to the boot on the side you are working on. At this point, open the glove compartment (using the two knobs) and detach the cover panel of the lights (apply some force as the piece is held by clips) to expose the back of the lamp. Now, by pressing the two plastic tabs on the side of the bulb holder, you can remove it from its working position. Select the bulb to be replaced, press and turn it counterclockwise to disconnect and remove it. Insert the new bulb by pressing and turning it clockwise. At this point, you can reassemble the bulb holder, reattach the side panel, and close the glove compartment. Check the correct functioning of the replaced part. The operation is complete.
