First, take your remote and remove the rear cover by prying it open with something thin; this will give you access to the battery. Next, take out the battery with a pointed tool and replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2025 3V); simply insert it the right way round and reassemble everything, following the tutorial to the end!
