In this guide, you will learn how to replace the key battery of a Golf 7. Open the key fob using the designated button. Using a screwdriver or a metal object, lever in the gap left by the key opening; this will extract the cover that protects the battery. Again, using a screwdriver, lever to remove the battery; replace it with a new one, type CR2025. Insert the new battery with the negative pole facing down and the positive pole facing you. At this point, you can refit the plastic cover, and the operation will be complete.
