Removal, Inspection and Replacement of the Fuel Filter

In this video, remove, inspect and replace the fuel filter on a Volkswagen Golf. Lift the vehicle with a jack and locate the filter and the box that contains it. Remove the entire piece by unscrewing the screws of the support clamps and its bolts; for the latter, use a ratchet spanner with an extension. Pull it out and disconnect it from the pipes it is connected to. Disconnect the electrical connections. To clean the old filter, shake it to release any residual fuel. Remove the old filter from the support by cutting the clamps that hold it. Place a new filter in the support in the same position as the previous one, then reassemble everything as before.
